El Dorado Community School (EDCS) is located off Highway 285 in the semi-rural community of El Dorado. We are a K-8 community school that serves students from El Dorado, Lamy, Galisteo, Glorieta, and beyond.

All El Dorado K-5 students participate in art, music, and physical education. Middle school students have a wide range of elective offerings to choose from, including PE, Piano Lab, Art, Orchestra, Band, and Choir. There are many enriching activities available, such as PTA After School Enrichment Programs, Middle School Sports, SWAT, Yearbook, and Student Council.

Note:  For School Year 2021-22, all students will need a NEW physical to try-out for sports.  Now would be a good time to start getting those physicals so that we are not waiting until the last minute.Teens can get $25 physicals at the Teen Health Centers at CHS (467-1081) and SFHS (467-2439).

Peachjar Flyer Distribution

Our district wants families to know about valuable programs and resources in the community. To facilitate delivery of this information, approved community organizations can send their flyers home to families digitally through Peachjar.

To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.

● Visit www.peachjar.com
● Register as a Program Provider (account type)
● Upload your flyer for approval

Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office for approval. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to parents and posted on each school’s web flyerboard for your selected duration of time. Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.
